Since 2024, he has been serving as the head of the newly established Construction DX Sales Section, proposing systems to improve construction efficiency to worksites.

We will introduce technologies that support construction sites through DX technology, autonomous operation, and remote construction. Through rental, customers can evaluate the effects of labor-saving and cost reduction using new technologies and consider their application to other sites. For civil engineering, we will introduce automated construction toward construction automation, as well as labor-saving in various measurement and safety management. Joined Kawahira Doboku Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture) in June 2013. Has been engaged in civil engineering work including bridge construction, road improvement, and ground improvement projects ordered by Okinawa Prefecture.
In 2017, he undertook Okinawa Prefecture's first ICT construction project, performing earthwork utilizing ICT construction machinery to improve overall site productivity, and the project received the Governor's Award.
Currently, he promotes in-house ICT implementation, building a system capable of handling everything from initial surveying to data delivery. Under the company motto of "Aiming for a beautiful environment," he continues to work on community-based construction.

Against the backdrop of labor shortages facing small and medium construction companies in Okinawa, this presentation introduces on-site initiatives that improved efficiency and productivity through in-house ICT implementation. By completing the entire process from initial surveying to data creation and delivery in-house, and combining optimal solutions at each stage, the company has reduced worksite burden and improved work quality. Accumulating know-how in worksite improvement through ICT utilization independent of external resources, the company is building resilient worksites capable of addressing labor shortages.

As construction demand increases in urban areas while the labor population declines, the importance of compact construction machinery is growing even further at worksites with space constraints and environmental restrictions. This presentation will organize the relationship between social challenges and Yanmar's Green Challenge, and introduce the labor-saving, efficiency, and environmental initiatives being promoted by Yanmar Construction Equipment. Daniel Sack is a technical sales representative in the Airborne Sensors Division of Leica Geosystems, specializing in imagery and LiDAR systems for wide-area aerial surveying. Originally from the UAV surveying software industry, he joined Leica and spent six years in technical support for data processing before transitioning to technical sales. He now introduces the latest aerial surveying technologies from overseas to users in Japan and provides implementation support.

This seminar will introduce the fundamentals of acquiring three‑dimensional data from the air using aerial imagery, topographic LiDAR, and bathymetric LiDAR.
It will also provide detailed examples of how these technologies are being applied across a wide range of fields—including urban modeling, disaster response, forest management, and river and coastal monitoring.
In addition, the session will highlight next‑generation sensor technologies currently under development and explain the new possibilities they bring to large‑scale 3D data acquisition.

Joined Tobe Kensetsu Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture) in June 1993, assigned to the Construction Department, and gained experience in a wide range of civil engineering work types. Since 2016, the company has been utilizing ICT construction, receiving multiple awards in 2024 including office director commendations from several river offices of the Kanto Regional Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Workforce Recruitment and Development Contribution Award. In 2025, the company received the Kanto Regional Development Bureau Director's Award, Outstanding Construction Award, Outstanding Construction Engineer Award, Edogawa River Office Director's Award, and the Kanto Infrastructure DX Grand Prize. He manages and operates worksites aiming for in-house ICT implementation, creatively utilizing i-Construction 2.0 and 3D technologies.

Motivated by the desire to improve site environments that, while getting better, still embody the "3K" (difficult, dirty, dangerous) conditions, the company decided to pursue remote construction in line with MLIT's policy. In October 2024, using MC ICT construction machinery, they conducted their first remote construction. Working with partner contractors to install equipment, they performed remote construction using both video feed and direct visual observation, gaining understanding of both advantages and challenges. In May of this year, they changed communication equipment and heavy machinery for a second attempt, acquiring new insights by combining advanced and existing technologies.

She has worked on diverse projects including water purification plants, sewage treatment facilities, new expressway and highway construction, and bridge seismic reinforcement, accumulating experience at various construction sites. In the same year, she joined the Society of Women Civil Engineers, continuing her activities as a member. She later served as West Japan Branch Director and Director of Planning and Public Relations, also participating in organizational management. Currently, she works in the management department within Kajima Corporation's Kansai Branch, supporting safety management at civil engineering sites, promoting the active participation of women skilled workers, and working toward creating an environment where everyone can work comfortably. She also serves as an observer for the Planning and Public Relations Division of the Society, devoting her efforts to supporting young women engineers.

Engaged in civil engineering work across diverse fields including roads, rivers, and agriculture. He became involved in information-based construction from 2010 and has accumulated extensive experience at ICT-equipped worksites since 2016, becoming ICT Solutions Section Manager in 2023.
Constantly focused on improving productivity and efficiency at worksites, he leverages the skills and experience cultivated in the field to actively promote the utilization of ICT technology, the dissemination of 3D models, and the development of engineers. He is driving projects such as "i-Construction 2.0" and "ICT Construction Stage II."

Ten years since the start of i-Construction, construction DX including 3D surveying and ICT construction is becoming established at worksites. However, with the progress of digitalization, new issues are also emerging, such as changes in on-site decision-making capabilities and challenges in skill succession. This presentation will concretely demonstrate the changes actually occurring at worksites, organize both the achievements and challenges of DX, and provide actionable tips for "next-generation worksite development" that balances digital technology and human capabilities.

This presentation provides a detailed explanation of the implementation benefits of tiltrotators that simultaneously achieve productivity improvement and safety assurance at construction sites, featuring specific construction case studies and user interviews.
